In 1947 Bob Keane started Keane Fire & Safety in the basement of
his home. Bob, a pioneer in fire prevention, provided neighborhood
businesses with affordable and essential fire protection. When Bob passed, Elizabeth or Betty as she was called took the reins and brought the Company
into the 21st century. Betty’s tireless effort and dedication to the Company kept
her working until she was 82. Bob and Betty's vision to deliver the best available
products and highest quality service at competitive prices still drives our
Company today. Betty’s son in law George Hayes started with the Company in
1956 and continued to grow the Company to where it is today. George continues
to work today with two of his daughters.

Now in its third generation, Keane Fire & Safety is one of the largest
family owned businesses in New England. Keane operates three
state-of-the-art facilities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New
